Additional Description: The 1979 F-Series pickups are already held in high regard for collectors, but not all of them even know about the Ford F-100 Indianapolis Speedway Package. Fords were a rare appearance at the Indy 500 during this era, but they weren't going to miss 1979. It was the debut year for the new Mustang, and they were out to make an impact. They were originally pewter with black, orange, and red graphics. Instead, this one is toned down for more modern times. It has a newer application of the slick black, color-matched bumpers, blacked out grille, and a shining front trim. It still keeps its Indy 500 style with tasteful badging on the fender. But originality doesn't mean missing out on maintenance. You can see this is well-respected, right down to the newer hoses, plugs, wires, and gaskets.
